Abstract
In this guided tour, participants use the innovative and multimedia GIS Database to explore the multiple values of Lam Tsuen River and knowledge of local rivers in an interactive way. The tour begins at the upper course of the river where its ecological functions are introduced, followed by visiting green and eco-friendly river channels, a pilot study area for ecology restoration and the waterworks, at downstream. River channel management issues in Hong Kong are also discussed.
